[Climbing Orientation]

[Step 1 Sign the Waiver]

[Before watching this video, please ensure you have signed the Rock Wall Waiver.]

[Step 2 Putting on a Harness]

[Put on the harness like you would like a pair of pants. Ensuring the green belay loop is in front.]

[Tighten both the legs and waist straps. To ensure the harness is tight enough, slide your hand in the waist strap, make a fist, and pull it out.]

[If your fist slides out without much difficulty, then your harness needs to be tightened a little more.]

[Step 3 Clipping In]

[Unlock and attach the carabiner to your harness belay loop in three easy movements: PULL, TWIST, PUSH.]

[Ensure the carabiner closes safely without getting caught on any loose clothing. Once you are all clipped in safely you can then unclip from the belay gate carabiner.]

[Step 4 Climbing]

[While on the wall make sure you are climbing in your desired lane and not in others. This will eliminate the swinging momentum when you let go of the wall.]

[When finished climbing, look below to ensure there are no climbers below you and declare “Falling.” Let go of the wall and the belay system will lower you down to the ground.]

[Reattach the carabiner to the gate and repeat these steps for your next climb.]

[By following these simple but crucial steps you reduce the risk of injury to yourself and others.]
